Following three weeks of brilliant music, drama, comedy and dance, TakeOver09 closed the doors, packed away its t-shirts and went into hibernation. TAKEOVER is a festival where young people under 26 take control of York Theatre Royal for three weeks! This is everything from the programming to marketing to stage management to keep the building running! If that's not enough all under 26 tickets to all shows which are part of the festival are free as part of the A Night Less Ordinary Scheme.
 

TAKEOVER10 will run in the Autumn of 2010, with recruitment beginning in January.

Yes you can! All you need to be is aged between 11 and 26. More details can be found by clicking the Get Involved link on the left! And if you don't want to get involved as a staff member then get involved by coming to see as much free theatre as possible!
